Conor McGregor urged his three-year-old son to 'punch' another kid in the mouth in a video shared online by the Irish fighter.
McGregor, who has 39million Instagram followers, posted a short clip of himself and his family relaxing on the beach.
In the video, it appears McGregor's son – Conor Jr. – has been hit by another child and is seeking comfort from his dad.
The UFC champion responds by showing his son a gold chain with a medallion, saying: "That's the McGregor family crown, champ.
"This is the McGregor family crest. It's a lion's head with a crown on it because you are a king, champ. We are kings."
McGregor then tells his three-year-old son to 'bash' anyone who 'says anything to you' before encouraging him to hit the other child in the face.
"Did he hit did you? Where did he hit you? Hit him back. Where are you going to hit him? Hit him in the mouth.
"He hit you in the back did he? Aim for the mouth and the nose champ. Hit him faster, that's why we train."
McGregor then turns his attention back to his medallion, telling his son "It's the McGregor crest."
The UFC star kisses his son twice on the neck before saying: "I'm going to give you some boxing training, come on. Hands up."
He rounds off the video with shouts of "hands up, hands up, let's go!"
Podcast host Marcus Deegan loved McGregor's video and commented "instilled from day one love it", but others were less impressed.
