Murray backed for strong Wimbledon showing by Henman

Wimbledon is set to get underway on Monday as the biggest tennis stars on the planet descend on the All England Club. Novak Djokovic is the overwhelming favourite to land the men’s title after winning the last four editions of the tournament, while last year’s women’s champion Elena Rybakina is among the favourites to once again taste glory. And Express Sport is on hand with all the information about how fans can follow the tournament on TV and radio.

What time do matches start?

For the majority of the tournament, play will start at 11am on outside courts, 1pm on Court One and 1.30pm on Centre Court. On finals weekend, matches will start at 11am on Court One and 2pm on Centre Court.

Where can I tune in on TV?

The BBC has comprehensive live coverage of Wimbledon, with BBC One and BBC Two screening the best of the live action throughout every day of the tournament. Fans can also select their favourite match to watch from up to 18 courts by tuning in to BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app.

Who will be presenting this year’s Wimbledon?

Viewers of this year’s Wimbledon will no longer be able to get their usual fix of Sue Barker after the 67-year-old called time on her presenting duties in 2022 after 30 years.

Clare Balding will be the corporation’s lead presenter this year and is set to be joined by an array of Wimbledon champions including John McEnroe, Martina Navratilova, Billie Jean King and Pat Cash. The likes of Johanna Konta, Caroline Wozniacki, Tim Henman and Tracy Austin will also be part of the BBC’s team.
