Wolves in talks with Aaron Cresswell over a £2.5m move to Molineux – with West Ham open to selling 33-year-old defender for a younger replacement

  • Wolves are in talks to sign experienced West Ham left-back Aaron Cresswell
  • The Irons are seeking a younger alternative to replace their nine-year servant
  • Wolves are also discussing a £25m swoop for Bristol City midfielder Alex Scott

West Ham defender Aaron Cresswell is in talks over a move to Wolves.

The 33-year old has been a staunch servant to West Ham since joining from Ipswich Town for £3.75million in 2014.

He has gone on to make over 330 appearances for the club, earning three England caps on the way, and culminating in the Europa Conference League win over Fiorentina.

However, he has increasingly been on the bench and with West Ham looking to bring in a younger left-back, he has opened talks with Wolves where he will link up again with former Hammer Craig Dawson.

Wolves are looking to pay around £2.5million for the vastly experienced full-back.
