West Ham debutant Downes dating blonde WAG who has keen eye for fashion

West Ham new boy Flynn Downes should feel right at home in the Premier League – and not just because of his footballing ability.

The 23-year-old earned a £10million move to the Hammers after impressing for Swansea City in the Championship last season. And he brings with him a stunning WAG who is very much top-tier herself.

Downes, who made his Irons debut as an 89th minute substitute against Manchester City on Sunday, is going out with blonde beauty Summer Godbold. Although it is not known how long the pair have been dating, they certainly appear all loved up in recent snaps on a recent holiday to Jamaica.

Summer doesn't quite have the profile to match some of the Premier League's big-hitting WAGs just yet, but she seems to have their tastes – with her social media showing off a host of designer clothing, including Balenciaga T-shirts and Chanel handbags.

The stylish sweetheart doesn't mind showing off her bikini body either, doing so on a recent trip to the Caribbean and a jaunt to Portal Nous last September.

She joined Downes on the pitch after Swansea's final home game of last year, and will no doubt be cheering him on every step of the way in his first campaign with his boyhood club West Ham.

The former England U20 international couldn't hide his delight at linking up with the Hammers after signing for them at the start of last month. "It’s a surreal feeling to have joined my boyhood club," he said.

"I feel like I’m dreaming. It’s been my dream since I was a little boy to join this Club – it’s an absolute privilege. This is my club, so I couldn’t be more delighted. I’m glad to be here and I can’t wait to get started.

"I want to be the best I can be and this feels like the perfect opportunity to test myself against the very best players in the Premier League.

"Players have come to West Ham from the Championship and progressed to international honours. That’s something you can’t ignore. The manager’s track record of bringing players through was a big motivation in me joining the Club. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be a West Ham player."

Downes will be hopeful of making even more of an impact in the coming weeks and months after coming on for his debut as a late substitute against Manchester City last weekend.
