West Ham could sign Jesse Lingard for as little as £10million in the January transfer window, according to reports. Hammers boss David Moyes wanted to re-sign Lingard in the summer following his successful loan spell at the club last season. However, Manchester United priced the east London side out of a deal.
Lingard has entered the final year of his contract at Old Trafford.
The England international hoped to have more regular game-time under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season after returning from his loan.
However, the 28-year-old is yet to start in either the Premier League or Champions League this season.
United were holding out for £25m in the summer window.

But The Sun says the Red Devils would now accept as little as £10m in January.
United do not want to lose the player for free at the end of the season and Lingard is unlikely to sign a new contract due to his lack of minutes on the pitch.
West Ham have been more than good enough without Lingard so far this season.
The Irons are third in the Premier League, just three points behind leaders Chelsea.

Moyes’ side have also qualified for the Europa League knockout stages, with 10 points from their four matches.
But Lingard being available at such a cheap price will surely be an attraction.
However, The Sun adds that United are hoping Newcastle enter the race for Lingard to ramp up his price.
Newcastle’s new owners are set to spend in January to help Eddie Howe’s push against relegation.
Lingard is desperate to play more after being left out of Gareth Southgate’s recent England squads.
United are reluctantly accepting the player will leave and are aiming to cash in this winter.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer discussed Lingard’s future last month and hoped he could tie him down to a new deal.
“Jesse has had a good start to the season, of course,” Solskjaer said.
“He’s come on and scored a few goals for us, that’s been very important for us.
“He knows what we want, we want to prolong his contract, we see him as an important player for us, it’s obviously up to him to get more playing time, it may be up to me giving him more playing time because he deserves to but every time I pick a team, I have to leave some players out.
“Hopefully we can get a deal sorted for Jesse because we really rate him, he’s a top player and top person who’s good to have around the club.”
