West Ham and Nottingham Forest stars swap shirts at half time and fans feel sick

Football fans were left disgusted during the Nottingham Forest and West Ham clash on Sunday afternoon when a camera caught Lucas Paqueta and Murillo swapping shirts at half-time.

The Premier League encounter had been far from a classic as they trudged off for half-time, but Sky Sports cameras caught the two Brazilians swapping shirts – to the annoyance of fans. One fan shared an image of the shirt swap with a sick emoji.

"Swapping shirts and shaking hands at half time?! Wtf is this?! These are professional athletes ffs, it’s embarrassing," a second fumed. While a third tweeted: "Swapping shirts at half time is so strange! Games slowly dying!"

After the break, both sides started to trade blows in an entertaining encounter, with Anthony Elanga nudging Forest ahead in the 63rd minute. However, their lead didn't even last two minutes, as Jarrod Bowen bundled the ball into the net.

The Hammers had chances to win the game, with Tomas Soucek hitting the bar – and it was the big Czech who proved to be the difference, powering home a header from a James Ward-Prowse set-piece.

David Moyes' side were in desperate need of the three points, having lost three on the bounce heading into Sunday's game. And the three points has seen the Hammers move up to 9th heading into the international break.

The Hammers now face a trip to Burnley when the Premier League resumes at the end of the month.
