The United States of America have confirmed their participation in the 2027 Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup, marking their third straight appearance at the event.
Regional Qualification Success
USA earned their spot through the regional qualification pathway. This achievement places them alongside two other teams that have already secured berths for the 2027 edition.
Samoa, representing the East Asia-Pacific region, and the UAE, representing the Asia region, have joined the USA in qualifying for the tournament.
Details of the Qualification Process
The qualification for the 2027 Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup is being conducted via regional events. USA completed their regional requirements successfully to book a third consecutive appearance.
- USA – Americas region qualifier
- Samoa – East Asia-Pacific region qualifier
- UAE – Asia region qualifier
These three teams have now locked in their places ahead of the remaining regional tournaments.
Remaining Qualifiers Scheduled
The Africa and Europe qualifiers are still to be held later in the year. These events will determine additional teams that will join USA, Samoa and UAE at the 2027 Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup.
The staggered schedule means that teams from different regions complete their qualification at different times, with the Americas, East Asia-Pacific and Asia pathways already concluded for this cycle.
With the confirmation of USA‘s participation, attention now shifts to the upcoming Africa and Europe regional events that will complete the field for the 2027 tournament.
