Manchester United and Bayern Munich are reportedly the favourites to sign Randal Kolo Muani this summer.

Eintracht Frankfurt value the striker at £85million and it seems very likely that he could be on the move.

According to L’Equipe, United and Bayern are set to battle it out for the 24-year-old.

United boss Erik ten Hag is determined to bring in a striker in this transfer window and his pursuit of Tottenham striker Harry Kane has so far proven problematic.

Kane still hopes United will resurrect their bid to sign him but that is dependent on Daniel Levy lowering his demand of £100million.

Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund is another player on United’s radar, with the prospect having scored six goals in five games for Denmark.

However, United could instead turn their attention to Kolo Muani, who is looking for a new challenge after impressing during his first season at Frankfurt.

Kolo Muani scored 23 goals in 46 games for Frankfurt after arriving on a free transfer following his departure from Nantes.

Although he has four years left on his Frankfurt contract he could be allowed to depart if a suitable offer is made.

Kolo Muani was also involved for France as they reached the final of the World Cup in Qatar.
