The tick of the clock is growing ever louder as clubs aim to complete their late business before the transfer window closes. 

Premier League sides are working relentlessly to see if they can push through deals, with Chelsea still expected to be active in the final couple of days. 

The Blues approached Arsenal for Emile Smith Rowe but were knocked back and according to reports, they’ve held a secret meeting ahead of one more exciting attacking addition. 

Elsewhere, West Ham are keen on PSG striker Hugo Ekitike and ‘are in talks’ with the French giants to see if a deal can be done.

West Ham have engaged in talks with PSG over the potential signing of Hugo Ekitike

Nottingham Forest are closing in on a move for Bologna’s Nicolas Dominguez and Remo Freuler could be going in the other direction. (Calciomercato)

Arsenal have knocked back an initial approach from Chelsea for Emile Smith Rowe. Mauricio Pochettino wants to add an attacker to his ranks before Friday’s transfer deadline and Smith Rowe is among the names the Blues have enquired about. (Mail Sport)

Manchester City are willing to walk away from a deal to sign Matheus Nunes from Wolves. Nunes has refused to train and was subsequently left out of their squad to face Blackpool last night but Wolves want over £60m and it is understood City do not want to pay above £55m. (Mail Sport)

Joao Felix will move to Saudi Arabia if a transfer to Barcelona does not materialise in the coming days despite Liverpool being linked with him if Mo Salah leaves. (Relevo)
