Tottenham will reportedly allow winger Bryan Gil to leave the club on loan in January, despite the fact they booked their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League earlier this week. Gil has fallen out of favour in north London under Antonio Conte and has been restricted to just five cameo appearances this season. The Spaniard didn’t prove to be the answer when Dejan Kulusevski injured his hamstring in September. And Express Sport looks at four Kulusevski alternatives the Lilywhites could now target in January.
Anthony Gordon
Tottenham were keen to sign Everton winger Anthony Gordon in the summer and reportedly submitted a joint bid for him and Richarlison. The Toffees were only willing to sanction a move for the latter, however, and Gordon stayed at Goodison Park.
Gordon has been a key player for Everton this season and has bagged three Premier League goals. And Frank Lampard could struggle to hold onto the 21-year-old in January if Conte comes knocking once again with the lure of Champions League football in the second half of the campaign.
Wilfried Zaha
Wilfried Zaha has been linked with a whole host of Premier League giants during his time with Crystal Palace, with Arsenal reportedly coming close to prising him away from Selhurst Park in 2019. But with his contract set to expire next summer, the Eagles could be ready to finally cash in on the 29-year-old in the New Year.

Zaha has the attacking ability to excite fans and make things happen on the pitch and has illustrated his prodigious talents time and time again in south London. So Conte could well decide the Ivory Coast international is exactly the sort of player he wants in his team.
Hakim Ziyech
While Spurs will be interested in players who are regularly impressing in the Premier League, they could also be tempted to launch a bid for out-of-favour Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech. The 29-year-old Morocco international has played just 25 minutes of football since Graham Potter took charge of the team in September and doesn’t look likely to break into the Blues side any time soon.

Ziyech has produced some stunning goals during his Chelsea career and has shown what he can do when given a chance to impress in the past. So Conte might think he’s a player worth chasing.
Yannick Carrasco
Tottenham could decide to look further afield in January and attempt to thrash out a deal with Atletico Madrid winger Yannick Carrasco. The 29-year-old, who is apparently admired by Conte, looks set to star for Belgium at this winter’s World Cup and was linked with Spurs in the summer. And with Atletico already being dumped out of the Champions League, the player could be open to the move.
