Tomas Soucek suffers gruesome injury in Tottenham Premier League clash

West Ham star Tomas Soucek suffered a gruesome blow to the head during his side’s Premier League clash with Tottenham. The midfielder was back in his own bopx helping to defend a corner when the incident happened.

the ball was recycyled back into the box when Soucek went to head it away just a couple of yards from his own goal line.

The 25-year-old got to the ball first and headed the ball away but Japhet Tanganga came in second and connected with Soucek’s head.

Both players hit the deck as Harry Kane attempted to volley in the rebound, which was blocked.

Once the ball was cleared the referee stopped play and allowed both players to be tended to.

When Soucek picked his head off the ground there was blood covering almost half of his face in terrifying scenes.

Fortuntaly the Czech international was quickly patched up and returned to action.
