Three Arsenal players who Liverpool should look to poach in transfer market

Liverpool should look to land three Arsenal players going into the summer transfer window.

Jurgen Klopp is need of a boost after a tough campaign where his side have failed to defend the Premier League title they won with ease last year.

Injuries have tormented the Reds with their defence ransacked as Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip sit out the rest of the season.

But a disastrous stretch of form – including a six-match loss streak at Anfield – has them in serious danger of missing out on the Champions League.

It would take a miracle to win the title and preparations must start now over next year and how to rectify the problems of this campaign.

One way they could solve some of their issues is to raid Arsenal for three of their players – but who?

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

If there is a striker that can fit into Klopp's system straight away, it would be Aubameyang – who worked with the German at Borussia Dortmund.

With Arsenal looking to bolster their own funds, offloading the Gabon international could free up vital wages.

However, after signing a new contract just earlier this season – would Mikel Arteta be happy to sell?

Ainsley Maitland-Niles

Reports have emerged that the Englishman is keen on leaving Arsenal on a permanent basis to further his career.

Currently on loan at West Brom, the 23-year-old could solve two problems for Liverpool due to his versatility.

He can play at right-back and in midfield, a position the Reds have had injury woes with, while Trent Alexander-Arnold can be brought out of the firing line if his form dips.
