Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel could axe Kurt Zouma after his horrorshow performance against West Brom. The Frenchman was a regular under Frank Lampard but has found game-time hard to come by under the German.

Chelsea star Zouma could find himself heading for the exit door after his abysmal performance against West Brom on Saturday.

The Blues were thrashed by the Baggies at Stamford Bridge in a 5-2 loss in one of the shock results of the season.

And the home side drew blood first through Christian Pulisic before a red card to Thiago Silva turned the game on its head.

Matheus Pereira scored twice in quick succession just before half-time before a Callum Robinson double and Mbaye Diagne netting after the break.

There were several players in blue who had horrific performances and one of them was Zouma.

The Frenchman has been frozen out by Tuchel in recent weeks with Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen preferred.

And he has done himself no favours with his showing on Saturday, marking a fall from grace considering his status under Lampard.

With the Chelsea legend at the helm, Zouma found himself a regular in the starting XI but now he looks set to leave on a permanent basis at the end of the season.

The former St-Etienne star is valued at £29m and has attracted attention from the likes of Everton and Leicester in the past.

And Owen Hargreaves also believes that the 26-year-old could leave in the transfer window.

“I think for Chelsea and for Kurt Zouma, I’m not sure that it’s going to go well for him after what happened today,” the former England international told Premier League Productions after the game.

“I don’t think he’s going to play many games going forward after today’s performance.”
