Ten Hag still not happy with Premier League’s time-wasting law after Man Utd win
Erik ten Hag is still fuming with time-wasting – despite the new Premier League laws – as he took aim at Steve Cooper and Nottingham Forest.
Manchester United found themselves two goals down within four minutes at Old Trafford over the weekend – and as Forest attempted to cling onto their lead, Ten Hag accused them of time wasting.
After the game, the Dutchman fumed: "The rule is not right. The team was delaying from the start and they were getting rewarded for it."
However, United were able to battle their way back into the game, firstly through Christian Eriksen, before Casemiro levelled the game. Bruno Fernandes secured the three points from the penalty spot, but there was still 11 minutes of added time.

Ten Hag continued: "We stayed so calm and so composed. We stuck to our belief, stuck to our plan, played some good football and scored three good goals. It was a great comeback.
"With all respect to Forest, we can’t allow them [those goals]. They were easy giveaways. It’s crazy, but sometimes games go like this. As I said, we stayed calm."

The Red Devils have now picked up six points from a possible nine – and they find themselves in sixth in the Premier League table.
"We’ve seen this team can bounce back. If you have such a start, you need to get over it," Ten Hag continued.
"It’s not easy, but compliments to the team. We have the personality. In certain moments we can definitely improve, but in general this team has the character to bounce back all the time."
