- Ten Hag will be looking to overhaul his squad in a range of different positions

Erik ten Hag will cast aside the lingering plans of former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he prepares his own player exit list ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports.

There a number of areas which the Dutch manager will seek to strengthen during the summer’s window, with a striker and reinforcements in midfield at the forefront of Ten Hag’s mind.
The Red Devils are inching closer to a move for Mason Mount, after discussions between Chelsea and United began over the weekend, and the club has Tottenham’s talisman Harry Kane at the top of their wishlist to lead the line.
But with a question mark over the club’s ownership adding uncertainty to their activity in the market, Ten Hag is keen to trim his squad and its bloated wage bill to allow for the influx of new players.

After a season-long loan at Nottingham Forest, Dean Henderson is expected to leave the club
As per the Mirror, goalkeeper Dean Henderson – who Solskjaer believed would take over No 1 duties from David de Gea – is widely expected to move on from Manchester after spending the season on loan at Nottingham Forest.
The Norwegian’s signing Alex Telles will be considered for sale, as will midfield duo Fred and Scott McTominay, both of whom received promotions under Solskjaer during his three-year tenure at the club.
French forward Anthony Martial may have also played his final match in red after failing to solidify his place as a regular starter under Ten Hag.
Telles is not the only defender that Ten Hag plans to move on during the window, with club captain Harry Maguire, Eric Bailly, and Brandon Williams all likely to ply their trade elswhere as their manager plots wholesale changes in the squad area.

Napoli’s Kim Min-jae is Man United’s primary defensive target after a strong Serie A showing
Maguire’s departure comes after an extended spell on the sidelines for the Carabao Cup winners after a dip in his domestic form.
But the England star is said to appeal to incoming Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou, with Spurs preparing to begin their summer business now that a permanent manager has been installed in north London 71 days after the sacking of former manager Antonio Conte.
The club’s principal defensive target is Napoli’s Kim Min-jae after his blistering season with the Serie A champions, with United leading the race to sign the talented centre back after holding positive talks with the player.
The player is believed to have said goodbye to his Napoli team-mates, so convinced is Kim of leaving just one year after he was signed to replace the departing Kalidou Koulibaly.
