Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has reportedly been given 48 hours to make up his mind over whether he wants to join Roma. The Serie A side, led by former Blues boss Jose Mourinho, have apparently tabled a £34million bid for the 23-year-old.
Abraham was a star performer for Chelsea under previous manager Frank Lampard but fell out of favour when Thomas Tuchel took the helm in January.
He played just 140 minutes of Premier League football under the German manager, failing to even make the bench on numerous occasions.
With Chelsea about to sign former striker Romelu Lukaku, Abraham’s Stamford Bridge days look numbered.
Roma are desperate to land the goalscorer after finishing seventh in Serie A last season and would hand Abraham a key role leading their attack.
Mourinho could be set to lose Edin Dzeko this summer as the former Manchester City striker is being touted with a move to Inter Milan if Lukaku does indeed seal his return to Chelsea.

Dzeko notched seven league goals for the Italian side last season, with ex-Premier League midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan leading the way with 13 strikes across the campaign.
Mourinho is well aware of Abraham’s capabilities as the striker was part of Chelsea’s youth team during the Portuguese’s second spell in charge.
According to The Athletic, Roma general manager Tiago Pinto will fly to London in the coming days with a view of sealing a deal before the end of the week.
With the new Serie A campaign due to begin next weekend, Mourinho is keen to get his squad finalised and wants Abraham to make up his mind on whether he will move to Italy by this Friday.

Chelsea would prefer to let Abraham leave for an overseas club but the player would apparently prefer to stay in England, with Arsenal rumoured to be interested in agreeing a deal to take him to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Abraham has shown he has the ability to excel in the Premier League, but one man who thinks Arsenal should steer clear is former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan.
Arsenal have previously raided Stamford Bridge for David Luiz and Willian – players who ultimately flattered to deceive at the Emirates.
“Those are players who those in their right mind would never think were fit for purpose at Arsenal,” Jordan told talkSPORT last month.
“It’s not so much a reputational thing – it’s when you’re going up against your competition and your competition are saying, ‘this player ain’t good enough for me, but he’s good enough for you.’
“They were players that weren’t fit for purpose in the make-up of Arsenal that needed something more.”
