Supercomputer predicts final Premier League table after Liverpool’s setback

The Premier League title race took another twist this week when Liverpool were handed a shock defeat at home to Brighton.

After going 68 matches unbeaten in the league, they have lost two on the bounce against Burnley and now the Seagulls.

The likes of Liverpool,Manchester United,Tottenham,Manchester City and Leicester City are all chasing the title.

And with more surprises bound to happen, it seems this could be the most unpredictable season in years.

Fortunately, the team at Football Web Pages have dusted off the crystal ball and booted their supercomputer into order and helped predict what the end of the campaign might look like.

It is pretty viewing for City, who are the favourites to lift their fifth Premier League title.

And even Jurgen Klopp would be happy with the end result, with the supercomputer putting Liverpool down in second despite their latest setback.

United sit third, but only by goal difference, while Leicester make up for last season's collapse by sneaking into the top four.

Chelsea fans will not enjoy the results, though, who are buoyant after watching their side beat Tottenham in north London.
