Spurs star Djed Spence’s sister fires dig at Conte over brother’s snub v Arsenal
Djed Spence's sister has hit out at Antonio Conte after the Tottenham manager snubbed the defender against Arsenal.
The former Nottingham Forest loanee was signed from Middlesbrough in the summer as part of a splurge on players that included the likes of Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic and Richarlison. However, Spence has played just a single minute for Spurs after being largely left out of the squad this season.
That is despite Tottenham's problems at right-back, where Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty have struggled for form. The former was sent off against Arsenal on Saturday after a shoddy challenge on Gabriel Martinelli.

It compounded a miserable afternoon for Tottenham, who were easily beaten by their biggest rivals 3-1 at the Emirates. And it led to Spence's sister hitting out at Conte on social media.
On her Instagram story, she captioned a post of Tottenham's loss saying "Could've been different" with a shoulder-shrugging emoji and a black moon face emoji.
It came after Spence was left sat on the bench despite Emerson's red card against Arsenal. After shuffling the pack, Conte opted for Doherty and Ryan Sessegnon as his full-backs.
Spence, who signed from Middlesbrough in a deal that could be worth up to £20million, was ignored as a result. The 22-year-old had a fine campaign in the Championship last year, helping Forest to promotion.
In fact, the last time the full-back played Arsenal was against them in the FA Cup last season where he proved a revelation playing in the same role that Royal did on Saturday. Spurs, meanwhile, remain third in the Premier League but will face high-flying Brighton next week at the Amex Stadium.
