Spain Women's manager Jorge Vilda has been branded a 'sexier Gareth Southgate' by fans on social media as he caught the eye in the Lionesses' Euros quarter-finals clash.
Lining up on the touchline in a sleek two-piece, Vilda ensured supporters kept one eye on his side-line antics as his Spain side took the lead at the Amex Stadium thanks to a fine finish from Esther Gonzalez Rodriguez. And while fans marvelled at his chic look, many were left glancing twice at their screens due to an uncanny resemblance to Three Lions gaffer Gareth Southgate.
"Spain’s manager looks like a sexier Gareth Southgate," commented one adoring supporter. "Is the Spain manager Southgate's Spanish cousin?" questioned another.

"Nah cause why does the Spain women's manager look like Southgate," posted a third. Betting firm Paddy Power took the opportunity to have a cheeky jibe at the Madrid-born boss, tweeting: "When you order Gareth Southgate from Wish."
And while Vilda was gleaming from ear-to-ear after their 54th-minute opener, the similarity to Southgate ends there. The 41-year-old will have to wait until at least the 2023 World Cup in New Zealand to lead the senior side to the final of a major tournament.

Netting an equaliser eight minutes from time, England sealed a successive Euros semi-finals spot courtesy of Georgia Stanway, who rifled the ball into the net in the first period of extra time.
Picking up the ball just inside the Spanish half, Stanway was given the freedom of the Amex Stadium to drive forward before unleashing a shot into the top left corner, giving Barcelona shot-stopper Sandra Panos no chance.
England will play the winners of Sweden and Belgium, which takes place on Friday, for a place in the final of Euro 2022.
