Solskjaer ‘adores the qualities’ of Dejan Kulusevski as Man Utd add to shortlist
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a big fan of Dejan Kulusevski and has tried to bring the Juventus ace to Old Trafford in the past, according to reports in Italy.
Kulusevski, who only completed a £31.5million move to Juve in January 2020 before being loaned out to Parma, has struggled to hit the ground running in his first full season at the club.
The Swede has been deployed as both a second striker and a winger under Andrea Pirlo this term, but he only has three goals to show for 26 appearances.
Nevertheless, reports suggest Solskjaer is eyeing up a potential deal to prise him away from Turin this summer.
According to Calciomercato, United are one of several teams who have 'knocked on Juve's door' because Solskjaer 'adores the qualities' of Kulusevski.
It is believed the Red Devils boss has even tried to sign him on a previous occasion, perhaps as an alternative to top target Jadon Sancho in the previous summer and autumn transfer window.
However, despite Solskjaer's clear admiration for the 20-year-old, Juve are understood to have no intention of selling him anytime soon.
Kulusevski is one of the players Andrea Pirlo, who is set to remain in charge next season in spite of a disappointing debut campaign at the helm, will continue to rebuild his side around.

That will come as a major blow to United, who are still on the hunt for a new right winger after missing out on a deal for Sancho last year.
Kulusevski has even dropped a hint in the past that United are a side he would be interested in joining, having decided to take the No.44 shirt at Parma in honour of Adnan Januzaj.
“I was in Sweden to see Manchester United and I witnessed Januzaj's debut," he told Sky Italia in May 2020.
“He entered the pitch with an incredible personality, even though it was his first professional game.
"I said to my dad that I wanted to be like that, I wanted play that way. I got attached to that number, read a few things and fell in love.”
