Shkodran Mustafi to Liverpool: Arsenal fans ‘crying’ after Joe Willock endorses transfer
Liverpool: Klopp admits clubs want ‘crazy money’ for defender
Arsenal fans have given their thoughts on seeing Joe Willock apparently endorsing Shkodran Mustafi’s potential move to Liverpool. Liverpool have only a few days left to bring in a centre-back before the January window closes after Jurgen Klopp confirmed Joel Matip’s injury is a “serious one”.
The Reds now have all three senior centre-backs out injured while Fabinho remains a doubt for Sunday’s game against West Ham with a muscle problem.
Nat Phillips impressed in the second half against Tottenham, but Klopp has admitted the club are looking for solutions in the final days of the transfer window.
Reports have suggested that Liverpool will only look to bring in a short-term solution as they’re said to be targeting a centre-back in the summer.
And Mustafi has reportedly emerged as a possible target for the Reds with the German centre-back out of favour at Arsenal.

The 28-year-old is said to be open to leaving Arsenal this month with just six months remaining on his contract.
Mustafi’s potential move to Anfield has got fans from both clubs talking – and it has seemingly attracted the attention of the players too.
Liverpool news blog ‘The Anfield Talk’ posted a video which showcased Mustafi’s passing range.
“Mustafi has got the passing range,” the tweet read.
DON’T MISS
And eagle-eyed Arsenal supporters spotted that Willock had ‘liked’ the tweet before later unliking it.
But some Arsenal fans were in tears at the thought of Willock pushing Mustafi to join the defending Premier League champions.
One fan laughed: “LOOOOL I’M CRYING. Even Willock is doing his best to get Mustafi out of here.”
Another tweeted: “Willock getting Mustafi out.”
A third wrote: “Is Mustafi to Liverpool really on? He will be the reason they lose it all”
And it appears as though some Liverpool supporters aren’t pleased with the possibility of Mustafi joining.
One Liverpool fan joked: “If Liverpool announce Mustafi on my birthday I’m just gonna retire.”
Another posted: “Alright come on now enough with this mustafi talk. It was funny at first, but now I’m starting to get nervous.”
A third simply wrote: “No please no.”
