Segio Aguero has announced his partnership with streaming platform Disney and ESPN
The 33-year-old said: ‘You already know how I was on the football field and the commitment with which I faced my career, in each of the clubs I played for and in the Argentine national team.
‘All of them allowed me to develop, grow and show myself as I am. In this new stage of my life, I wanted to find a place where I can also apply that same formula.
‘Joining a company at the level of Disney fits perfectly in that search.’
Aguero added: ‘We think very much alike and all the projects we are seeing for Disney, ESPN, Disney+ and Star+ are exciting.
‘We are going to do a lot of things for multiple platforms and even with my dear Kru Esports. I am very excited about this agreement and ready to go.’
The Argentine was diagnosed with a heart arrhythmia after experiencing chest pain and breathing difficulty during Barcelona’s game against Alaves last October
The striker had experienced pain in his chest and breathing difficulty during the first half of Barcelona’s 1-1 home draw with Alaves on October 30.
He was taken to hospital for cardiological tests and was initially advised by medics to take a break from the sport.
But it was later deemed inadvisable for Aguero to continue playing at the highest level and he announced his premature retirement at a press conference at the Nou Camp.

Since retiring, Aguero has become a regular on Twitch, where he streams games among other things – racking up 3.9million followers in the process.
During his time with City, Aguero became the club’s all-time goalscorer with 260 goals in 390 games.
In his 10-year spell with the club, he won five Premier League titles, six League Cup titles and the FA Cup once.
