Sancho never ‘been so close’ for United, Varane update; Trippier interest cooled
Manchester United's long-running transfer saga for Borussia Dortmund's star-man, Jadon Sancho, looks to have finally reached its conclusion with reports 'its never been so close'.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to add the winger to his rooster after United's heartbreaking Europa League final loss to Unai Emery's Villarreal on penalties.
Real Madrid's Raphael Varane is also on the Red Devils shopping list, however, an 11th-hour twist has thrown a spanner in the works for Solskjaer to complete a deal.
And Daily Star Sport has rounded up all of Manchester United's transfer dealings into one article for you.
Sancho's 'never been so close'
United have been long-time admirers of the English winger, who is currently in Germany, and their saga looks set to end soon rather than later, according to Fabrizio Romano.
"Jadon Sancho has never been so close to join Manchester United, Sancho Gap now reducing between #MUFC official proposal and Borussia Dortmund price tag after further talks," the transfer guru tweeted on Friday afternoon.
Dortmund are believed to want around £77million for the winger, and United are yet to match that fee.

Varane makes new demands
Varane looked set to be unveiled as Manchester United's latest signing earlier this week.
However, new reports suggest, Varane wants around £400,000-a-week, which would comfortably make him United's highest earner.
Varane has one year left on his current Real Madrid contract, and Madrid may be forced to sell to avoid losing him on a free next summer – with the Frenchman already making up his mind in leaving.
Backtracking on Trippier
United have cooled their interest in Atletico Madrid's full-back Kieran Trippier, who is currently on England duty at Euro 2020.
The Red Devils are believed to want an attacking alternative to Aaron Wan-Bissaka, however, Atleti have slapped a fee of £28million on the defender, and United have put the deal on the back-burner.
Trippier is wanted by United, but they were hoping £10million would be enough to coax him back to British shores.
