Ryan Reynolds has sent his condolences to Notts County following the sudden death of chief executive Jason Turner.
Notts, who lead the National League on goal difference from Reynolds’ club Wrexham, announced the devastating news this morning (Friday). A club statement said: "We are devastated to report the loss of our much-loved chief executive, Jason Turner," said a club statement. “He was an outstanding CEO who was respected across football.”
Meanwhile, a statement from his mother, Jen, and father, David, said: “Words cannot describe our sadness following the loss of our beloved son, Jason. We know this feeling will be shared by all of his colleagues and his many, many friends. While we come to terms with this news, we ask for our family’s privacy to be respected.”

Notts captain Kyle Cameron described Turner as a "great man". He would bend over backwards for anyone and everyone involved in the club,” added Cameron. “I'm lost for words and heartbroken by the news. Thank you for everything Jason you will be missed greatly by everyone.”
Hollywood star Reynolds, who owns the Welsh side along with fellow actor Rob McElhenney, has also paid his respects, tweeting: “Just finished reading more about Jason Turner. Gone way too soon. Love and condolences to his family and the top-notch organization of @Official_NCFC.”
Wrexham also tweeted their condolences via the club’s official channels: "All at Wrexham AFC are so sorry to hear this news. We enjoyed a great working relationship with Jason, and our thoughts are with his family, friends and all at @Official_NCFC at this time.”
Turner was appointed by County in 2016 having also worked for Bath City, Newport County, Plymouth Argyle and Cardiff City.
