Roy Keane names ex-Man Utd team-mate Gary Neville as his ‘dream boxing opponent’

Manchester United legend Roy Keane has named his former team-mate Gary Neville as his dream boxing opponent.

Keane dropped the bombshell when he was asked who he would step into the squared circle with. He said, speaking to SPORTBible: "I'd like to fight? Just one? I'll go with Nev, Gary Neville. Just it would be over pretty quickly!"

The Irishman was then taken aback by the response of the interviewer who joked 'which way'. Keane, after a signature glare, responded: "You're really asking me that question, come on." And the interviewer responded: "We'll take you as the winner then."

"Keane vs Haaland the rematch," a second joked in reference to the infamous feud between Keane and Haaland's dad, Alf-Inge Haaland. While a third tweeted: "I’d love to see Roy Keane smash him inside 10 seconds!"

And a fourth joked: "Don’t get me wrong Keane is strong but Gary would absolutely destroy him in a few seconds!"
