Comeback kid Cristiano Ronaldo is set to open up about his relationship on a new TV show.

The footie ace, 36, who is back at Manchester United, will appear on 27-year-old girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez’s Netflix documentary.

Speaking about their romance, he confesses: “It was a split-second moment. I never thought it would be that big as to fall in love with her. I really didn’t expect it.

“Georgina is the woman I am totally in love with.”

The new show is called Soy Georgina, which translates as I Am Georgina.

The premiere date has yet to be released.

Netflix Spain's Director of Entertainment Alvaro Diaz said: “Georgina is totally honest and recognises in the documentary that her life changed from having nothing to absolutely everything.

“‘I Am Georgina’ has a strong aspirational component. Georgina went from selling luxury to being gifted it and showing it off on the red carpet.

“She was a normal young woman whose life changed dramatically one day.

"She was leaving work one day and crossed paths with the love of her life. Who has not dreamed of that?”

He also confirmed Ronaldo would make an appearance, adding: “Cristiano’s incorporation is total but complements a vision of who Georgina is and her relationship with the father of her children.

“It conditions all her life but the focus is on her and knowing her also through her own eyes.”

The pair met in 2021 when Ronaldo was shopping at a Gucci store in Madrid, Spain, where Georgina worked.

At the time, the model was making just £10 an hour.

Ronaldo’s return to Old Trafford has sparked a frenzy, with fans queueing in their droves at Old Trafford to buy replica shirts.

Ronaldo's No.7 number has also been confirmed, with a request successfully made and Edinson Cavani swapping to international number 21.

And the 36-year-old was greeted at Manchester Airport by Darren Fletcher, who played alongside the Portuguese forward during his six-year first stint.

It comes after Ronaldo broke the record for the most goals ever scored by a player in international games.
