Ronaldo brutally trolled by Saudi rivals as Messi image altered

Manhester City boss Pep Guardiola compared Erling Haaland to Messi and Ronaldo

Al-Fayha couldn’t help but tease Cristiano Ronaldo after holding Al-Nassr to a frustrating 0-0 draw on Sunday. Ronaldo couldn’t find a breakthrough at Al Majma’ah Sports City as Al-Nassr lost ground in the closely-fought Saudi Professional League title race.

The 38-year-old has scored 11 goals in 12 games since leaving Manchester United for Saudi Arabia at the end of 2022.

But he couldn’t be the difference for Al-Nassr as they took 17 shots to Al-Fayha’s five without success, falling three points behind Al-Ittihad at the league summit.

Ronaldo was furious after the full-time whistle, ripping the captain’s armband off as he stormed towards the tunnel to make a quick exit.

And he engaged in a row with Al-Fayha midfielder Ali Al-Zaqan on his way off the pitch, gesturing as if he was zipping his lips shut after the two traded verbal blows.

Al-Fayha, 11th in the Saudi Professional League, will have been happier with the result and made sure to have the last laugh off the pitch too.
