Roman Abramovich and Marina Granovskaia ‘clashing’ over Chelsea manager decision
Chelsea chiefs Roman Abramovich and Marina Granovskaia are reportedly clashing over what to do with under-pressure manager Frank Lampard.
Lampard’s position is believed to be under threat with the Blues having won just two of their previous seven Premier League games.
The Stamford Bridge outfit spent £200m in the summer but the likes of Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech have struggled since their arrivals.
The likes of Thomas Tuchel, Max Allegri and Rafael Benitez are all currently without clubs.
And ESPN say Abramovich and director Marina Granovskaia are torn over who should replace Lampard if they sack him.
Southampton's Ralph Hasenhuttl and Julian Nagelsmann of RB Leipzig are also believed to be possible candidates.
ESPN add that the disagreement is over whether to make an interim appointment, or to wait until the end of the season.
Former Blues manager Avram Grant and ex-Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko are believed to be possible interim options for Abramovich and Granovskaia.

Emile Heskey told Premier League Productions: “For me, that is one of the problems.

“As a player you want to play, doesn’t matter how many games, you want to play [in the same team]. That consistency, the relationship you build, it helps you.
“When you keep coming out for one game, then going back in for two, but then you are coming out for three games, you are going back in for one, you can’t build up the consistency and relationship as well.”
