Richarlison reveals online 'BANTER' makes him want Reds to LOSE
‘Liverpool fans go on social media to make fun of us’: Everton star Richarlison reveals that incessant online ‘BANTER’ from rival supporters makes him want Reds to LOSE
- Richarlison claims that he doesn’t want Liverpool to win the Champions League
- The Everton forward knows Reds fans ‘will make fun’ of them on social media
- Liverpool sealed a 2-0 win away to Inter Milan in the last-16 of the competition
Everton star Richarlison has endeared himself with the Toffees faithful even further by claiming he doesn’t want local rivals Liverpool to win the Champions League.
The 24-year-old, who joined the Toffees in July 2018, has not featured in Europe’s elite competition himself.
But the forward does know if Jurgen Klopp’s side win the competition once again, that he and his Everton team-mates will not hear the end of it from Reds fans on social media.

In an interview with TNT Sports, the Brazilian was asked if there was a team he would rather not win the Champions League this season and Toffees around the world will love his answer.
‘From here in England, I would prefer Liverpool not to win. Because, like it or not, it’s like you said, it’s a rival and we don’t want the guys to win.
‘Because there’s banter, total banter, Liverpool fans go on social media to make fun of us. So, if I had to choose, I would choose Liverpool not to win.’

Liverpool sealed a 2-0 win away to Inter Milan in the first leg of their last-16 tie and will now be confident of progressing into the quarter-finals.
There is however plenty of big name clubs to overcome, if they want to win the competition for a seventh time.
Everton, however, need to focus on their own relegation problems before they can worry about challenging their rivals once again.
They currently sit 16th in the Premier League, just five points above the relegation zone, although they have won two of their three games in all competitions since the arrival of new boss Frank Lampard.
The two sides will meet at Anfield on April, 23 for what is expected to be a fierce contest.
