Richarlison drops massive hint he’s leaving Everton in reply to upset young fan

Richarlison has dropped another huge hint that he is set to leave Everton in a social media reply to an upset young fan.

The Brazil ace has been heavily linked to a move away from Goodison Park this summer, with Tottenham reportedly inching towards securing his signature. The 25-year-old star set tongues wagging earlier this month when he donned a San Antonio Spurs jersey in a cheeky post on Instagram.

And he has now dropped another seismic hint that his future lies elsewhere in a telling interaction with a young supporter on Twitter. An Everton fan tweeted a picture of herself with her visibly upset young son and the message: "Whoops! Just told my lad that it looks like @richarlison97 #richarlison is going to Tottenham.

"I cried the same when Lineker left (showing my age a bit there)."

Richarlison replied to the message just over two hours later with a blue heart and the words: "Stay happy my friend." More than a few Everton fans have taken the striker's response as an indication that he is set to leave the club this summer.

One wrote: "You're better than Spurs lad. Should have gone somewhere you'd win trophies. As someone else said: "He's gone isn't he."

A third person added: "Don’t ruin your career and downgrade, Everton have more league titles than that banter club. While another user simply put: "F*** sake."

Tottenham fans, on the other hand, used Richarlison's message as a chance to welcome him to north London. One wrote: "Omg he’s actually coming hahaha."

While another commented: "Welcome to @SpursOfficial."

Spurs are reportedly confident of pulling off a £60million transfer for Richarlison in the coming days, despite late pressure from London rivals Chelsea.

However, a double deal with Antony Gordon appears unlikely with Frank Lampard keen to keep the talented 21-year-old at Goodison Park. Gordon impressed for the Toffees last season and is under contract until 2025.
