Referee holds raging keeper back after striker mocks his failure to save penalty
A referee in the Malaysian Super League was forced to step in to hold back an angry goalkeeper who was left fuming by the celebrations of an opponent.
Terengganu FC were hosting Sri Pahang at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium in their eighth game of the season. They had already gone a goal up just a minute in through Kpah Sherman as the game entered the final 10 minutes.
Nafuzi Zain's side then won a penalty, with Faisal Abdul Halim stepping up to take the spot-kick. Sri Pahang keeper Mamadou Samassa held his arms in the arm in an attempt to put the forward off from scoring.

But Halim put his penalty into the top left hand corner, with Samassa diving to his right as the ball flew into the net. The 24-year-old initially did a dance in the box to celebrate before he was mobbed by his team-mates.
He wriggled free though and ran to the goal-line, taking up a position in the middle of the posts, as Samassa had done for the penalty. Halim then dived to his right, as Samassa had done when he failed to save the spot-kick.
Samassa had run to boot the ball away in frustration, before turning around to see Halim make his dive. The Pahang keeper sprinted towards the striker, who immediately ran off towards to corner to celebrate further.

The fuming Samassa was spotted making his run by Halim's team-mate Muhd Shahrul Nizam bin Ros Hasni and the referee. The duo attempted to block Samassa but failed, with the official turning around to grab hold of the keeper's shirt.
Three more of Halim's team-mates joined the attempts to stop Samassa, while the Terengganu star continued to celebrate, apparently oblivious. Samassa was eventually stopped, with Halim picking up a yellow card for his cheeky celebration.
Abdul Malik would go on to pull a goal back for the visitors with three minutes to go, but Terengganu held on to win. The three points saw them move into fifth in the Super League, with Pahang now second bottom.
