Raul Gonzalez has tested positive for COVID-19 and will not be present for Castilla’s fixture against Getafe B this weekend.
According to Marca, the former striker is self-isolating and adhering to all the relevant protocols.
Gonzalez is, however, expected to return in time for Castilla’s game against Rayo Majadahonda on January 31.

Provided their game against Getafe goes ahead, it will be assistant manager Alberto Garrido who will be in the driving seat.
The news of Gonzalez’s result comes as a blow to Castilla – who have implemented strong protocols to stop the virus from effecting the team.
Castilla have not yet played any games this calendar due to various covid related issues. Their last match was played on December 13 against Atletico Madrid B.

While Zidane has also self-isolated after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19.
