Raphinha leaves boxer Ebanie Bridges heartbroken over Leeds exit for Chelsea

Boxing bombshell Ebanie Bridges has been left heartbroken by the impending departure of Raphinha from Elland Road.

Chelsea are close to a £55million swoop for the Brazilian after the Blues look to have fended off competition from Arsenal and Barcelona. And Raphinha could become the second key player to leave Leeds this summer with Kalvin Phillips set to swap Leeds for Manchester City.

But the news the Leeds fan favourite could be on his way has left the Blonde Bomber heartbroken. Bridges tweeted: "Now Raph," with a broken heart emoji and a gif of a man crying in bed.

Raphinha was key to Leeds United's survival in the Premier League last season, despite the sacking of Marcelo Bielsa.

However, after helping the Yorkshire side remain in England's top flight, the Brazilian had his heart set on a switch to Catalonia. But due to Barcelona's ongoing financial situation, the Blaugrana were unable to match Leeds' valuation.

This left the door open for Chelsea to swoop and match Leeds' asking price, which Arsenal had been trying to lower with multiple offers.
