Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement with Mauricio Pochettino that will see him leave his role as head coach of the French Champions after 18 months at the helm.

The Athletic report that Pochettino is believed to have met with the PSG hierarchy last week to discuss the club’s stuttering 2021-22 campaign, with their only success coming by way of the Ligue 1 title.

The conversation is believed to have composed a mutual decision that the former Tottenham manager would leave the capital club with 12 months left to run on his deal, with both parties agreeing to a parting of the way being the most sensible step.
