Prince George beams with joy and celebrates England’s goal with William and Kate

Prince George could be seen beaming with joy following Luke Shaw's opener in the Euro 2020 final at Wembley on Sunday evening.

The Manchester United wing-back, who arrived late in the box, latched onto Kieran Trippier's cross, and volleyed the ball past Gianluigi Donnarumma in the Italian goal to give England an early lead.

It was Shaw's first goal in England shirt, in his 16th appearance for the Three Lions, and his second of the calendar year.

Wembley erupted when the ball hit the back of the net, and Prince George could be seen gleaming at his parents: the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

The seven-year-old prince was seen beaming at his dad before erupting in laugher and clapping.

Like his dad, Prince William, George is said to be football mad.

Prince George was labelled as England's lucky charm, following his appearance at England's last 16 tie with Germany, in which England beat the Germans in a competitive game for the first time since 2001.

However, the young prince hasn't been in attendance since, and he missed the clashes with Ukraine and Denmark before returning for the final.
