- Kane’s 30 league goals added 24 points to Tottenham’s Premier League total
- Only Man City hotshot Erling Haaland matched Kane for points personally won
- Marcus Rashford helped power Manchester United to a third-place finish
Tottenham would have finished 17th without Harry Kane’s goals with only Manchester City sensation Erling Haaland matching the England captain for influence this season.
Kane scored 30 league goals in 2022-23, earning Spurs 24 points and vastly improving their league placing to eighth.
Without his interventions, the team would have collected 34 points instead of 60, putting them just above the relegation zone.
Haaland, signed from Borussia Dortmund for £51million last summer, has proved a revelation and his 36 league goals won City 24 points.
Pep Guardiola’s team were crowned champions for the third consecutive season but would have come only sixth without Haaland’s influence.
