Chelsea will storm to the Premier League title this season according to a supercomputer prediction. The Blues look set to leave their rivals well and truly in their wake, with the computer predicting a scintillating campaign for Thomas Tuchel’s side.

Chelsea have started the season in emphatic fashion and are already top of the table after winning five of their first seven games.

It’s a tight affair, with Liverpool just one point behind the Blues and four other rivals trailing the west Londoners by two points.

But the supercomputer doesn’t think the rest of the season will be close at all.

According to Football Web Pages, Chelsea will win 26 of their remaining 31 Premier League games and won’t lose between now and the end of the campaign.

And, bizarrely, the computer predicts Tuchel’s side will only concede one more goal this season.

Tuchel has worked wonders in the capital and has transformed his side’s defence into one of the best in Europe.

But, however impregnable the Blues appear, it’s a bit of a stretch to believe they will keep 30 clean sheets before the end of May.

The prediction says Chelsea will win the title with 99 points – four more than they managed under Jose Mourinho in the 2004/05 campaign.

Despite the astonishing prediction, the total would still come agonisingly short of the 100 points Manchester City racked-up when they breezed the top-flight in the 2017/18 season.

Meanwhile, Liverpool will finish second with 89 points, losing three games before the campaign comes to an end.

City will have to make do with a third-place finish on 76 points, while the fourth Champions League spot won’t go to any of the so-called big six sides.

Instead it is Brentford who remarkably secure fourth place with 74 points after enjoying a sensational first season in the Premier League.

Apparently the Bees will only lose six times all season and will finish four points ahead of Manchester United.

The Red Devils take the top Europa League place – just above West Ham – despite both sides finishing with 70 points.

Everton and Brighton are set to enjoy solid seasons in seventh and eighth respectively, while Aston Villa and Wolves complete the top 10.

Disappointingly for football fans in north London, Tottenham and Arsenal won’t have much to celebrate this season.

Both clubs will apparently finish on 43 points, but it will be Tottenham who maintain their bragging rights by finishing 12th, while Arsenal finish 13th.

There are no shocks at the bottom of the table as Norwich City finish 20th with 14 points after winning just two games all season.

They will be relegated alongside 19th-placed Southampton and 18th-placed Burnley, who will both fail to win away from home all season.

Meanwhile, Newcastle, under their new mega rich owners, will stave off relegation by six points, finishing one place above the drop zone.
