Pogba's representative 'flies to Turin to hold talks with Juventus'

Paul Pogba’s representative Rafaela Pimenta – who has taken over Mino Raiola’s agency after his death – ‘flies to Turin to hold talks with Juventus over a return this summer’ with his Man United contract set to expire

  • Pogba has been linked with a return to Juventus when his United deal expires
  • The Frenchman is set to become a free agent at the end of the season
  • His representative Rafaela Pimenta is reportedly meeting with Juve over a move
  • Pimenta, a lawyer, is the business partner to Pogba’s late agent, Mino Raiola
  • She also helped secure Erling Haaland’s £51million switch to Man City last week

Paul Pogba’s representative has reportedly flown to Turin to discuss a potential reunion with Juventus in the summer.

Pogba, 29, is expected to leave Old Trafford when his contract expires in the summer and a host of top European clubs, including Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, are thought to be interested in securing his services.

Juventus are keen on Pogba’s return and have set up a meeting with the Frenchman’s representative, Rafaela Pimenta, to discuss a free transfer, according to the Telegraph.

The report claims that Pimenta has been invited for talks with Juventus but is also expected to meet with Real and PSG over a move once his Manchester United deal expires.

Pimenta, a Brazilian lawyer, is the business partner of Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, and has taken over the Italian’s agency following his death last month. She also helped seal Erling Haaland’s £51million move to Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund.

The Telegraph are also reporting that Pogba may even wait to speak with incoming boss Erik ten Hag before deciding his next career move.

Pogba is currently free to discuss a move to overseas clubs and a move away from Old Trafford grows more likely by the day, given the Red Devils have not offered the World Cup-winning Frenchman a new deal.

Pogba is still fondly thought of in Turin despite his move back to Old Trafford in 2016

Pogba, who has endured a dismal season and has been booed and jeered by his own fans, spent four years at Juventus before moving back to United for a then world record fee of £89.3million.

Reports over the weekend suggested that a potential stumbling block to Pogba returning to the Allianz Stadium is his wage demands, believed to be around £9.3million a year on a four-year contract.

But the Serie A giants are hoping to persuade Pogba to lower that figure to facilitate a move.
