Mauricio Pochettino will have a million things running through his mind as he completes his first week of pre-season training with Chelsea.
But the Blues boss should think about clearing his cluttered tactics board soon with Mason Mount, Kalidou Koulibaly, Edouard Mendy and Mateo Kovacic still featuring despite their recent departures.
Eagle-eyed fans picked up on the blunder as Pochettino posed for a photo with club legend John Terry, who recently announced he will be teaming up with the academy this summer as a coach just months after suffering relegation as Leicester City’s assistant manager.
One fan noted: “That tactics board would need some revamping!”
Another wrote: “This was taken before the transfers because Mount / Mendy and some others are on the training board.”

Kalidou Koulibaly has been signed by Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal for £33m from Chelsea
While a third added: “He hasn’t been at Cobham for long, it is recent content. That board hasn’t been touched since last season I bet lol.”
Chelsea have already sold several players during this window as they look to trim down their bloated first team squad.
Long-time servants Cesar Azpilicueta and N’Golo Kante have departed on free transfers following the expiration of their deals at Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, Kai Havertz, Mount, Kovacic, Koulibaly, Mendy and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have been sold for a combined £188m.
The West Londoners have spent over £600m on players since Todd Boehly completed his takeover of Chelsea back in May 2022 and became co-owner alongside Behdad Eghbali.
Several more players are expected to depart in the coming weeks in the hopes of balancing their books and complying with FFP rules.
