Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wants to stay at Arsenal – and won’t leave on transfer deadline day unless a huge offer comes in. Aubameyang’s future has again been the subject of this summer, with Barcelona and Juventus said to be keen on luring the Gunners forward away from Mikel Arteta’s side.
Arsenal would be reluctant to sell the Gabon international – although any offers would have to be weighed up as Mikel Arteta needs funds to improve his squad.
But the 32-year-old has no plans to leave, and will stay unless an ‘astronomical’ offer is received, according to Football London.
The publication says the situation is the same for Alexandre Lacazette, who is set to see out the remaining year of his contract.
Aubameyang, who signed a three-year deal last summer, plundered a hat-trick in last week’s 6-0 thrashing of West Brom in the Carabao Cup.
JUST IN: Arsenal finally agree Bellerin transfer as Barcelona miss out
It was a welcome return to form after he netted just 10 times in 29 Premier League appearances last term.
This summer, reports from Spain claimed Barcelona had made contact over a potential swap deal that would see Philippe Coutinho go the other way.
He has also been linked to Juventus with the Serie A giants needing a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, whose Manchester United return has now been confirmed.
If Aubameyang is to stay, under-pressure Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will hope the striker produces more performances like his starring role at The Hawthorns last week.

Aubameyang‘s movement was too much for a second-string Baggies side as he fired a treble and also set up a goal for Nicolas Pepe.
But he was unable to repeat the trick in Saturday’s 5-0 thrashing by Manchester City before heading off to international duty with Gabon.
Saturday’s defeat meant Arteta’s side have lost their first three games of the new Premier League campaign, all without scoring a goal.
Barcelona look set to miss out on Gunners right-back Hector Bellerin as well as Aubameyang.
The Spain defender has been out of the first-team picture since sitting on the bench against Brentford during the Gunners’ Premier League opener.
Transfer deadline day done deals: Every Premier League move
Barcelona, who had Bellerin on their books between 2003 and 2011, might step in with a bid if Tottenham are successful in signing the Catalan club’s right-back Emerson Royal.
Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo reports that Bellerin could end up being the 22-year-old’s replacement, with Barca ‘attracted’ to the possibility of a return deal.
Arsenal have also been linked Emerson, but North London rivals Spur appear to be favourites to secure his signature.
