Referee Bastien Dechepy awarded a free-kick and immediately produced a red card for the Frenchman. It is by far the fastest sending-off in Ligue 1.

It is also now Todibo’s second two red card already this season, as he picked another up in Nice’s 1-0 defeat by Clermont Foot last month.

His dismissal has not only broken the record in France, but it sits among the fastest in football history.
