Fred and Harry Maguire have the highest win percentages of Manchester United players who have featured in a minimum of 10 games in the Premier League this season, new figures have revealed.
The Brazilian midfielder and the England centre-back have been heavily criticised by fans and pundits alike – but the statistics show they are somewhat lucky charms for United.
Fred has played in 27 games for the beleaguered Red Devils in the league this season. United have won 14 of those – they have only won 16 in the Premier League – giving him a win percentage of 51.9 per cent.
Maguire, who has endured a poor season for United and faced calls to be stripped of the captaincy, has a victory percentage of 51.7 per cent.
Oleksandr Zinchenko tops the list in Manchester City’s squad on 91.7 per cent as Pep Guardiola’s side, who are aiming for their fourth title in the past five years, have claimed all three points in 11 of the 12 matches the Ukrainian full-back has played in.
Zinchenko is first in the entire league, with team-mates Ilkay Gündogan and Fernandinho second and third, respectively.
Liverpool’s lucky mascots in their Premier League title push have been Spanish midfielder Thiago and Luis Diaz, who has made a huge impact at the club since joining from Porto in January.

Japhet Tanganga occupies top spot in Antonio Conte’s top four-chasing Tottenham squad with Spurs winning eight of the 11 matches he has featured in, giving him a percentage of 72.7 per cent.

January signings Wout Weghorst and Bruno Guimaraes lead the way for Burnley and Newcastle, respectively.
Six of Burnley’s seven wins in a difficult league campaign have involved Weghorst, who has a victory percentage of 35.3 per cent – but it might not be enough to keep the Clarets in the league.
Guimaraes has been in superb form since coming to the Premier League. The highly-rated Brazilian has a win percentage of 60 per cent, with Newcastle having taken all three points in nine of his 15 appearances.
