Micah Richards suffers embarrassing wardrobe malfunction on live TV
Despite being known for showing a bit of cheek on TV, Micah Richards has taken it too far this time.
The former Manchester City and Aston Villa defender was back in his usual slot on CBS helping to cover Wednesday's Champions League action. But he gave colleagues Kate Abdo and Jamie Carragher a little more than they bargained for after his attempt to mimic Kylian Mbappe's celebration went awry.
Richards, 35, got out of his punditry pew and jumped into a wide-set stance, which apparently proved a little too much for his trousers. And although he initially appeared to get away with it, hilarity ensued once host Abdo asked: "Are your trousers alright? They still intact?"

They weren't, as it goes. A horrified look came across Richards' face as he assessed the damage, letting out a stream of steady shrieks as he returned to his seat while attempting to hold his britches in place.
Liverpool legend Carragher could hardly believe his luck as he attempted to get a better look at his cohort's calamity. Both he and Abdo covered their faces while holding heads in hands, presumably suffering from severe cases of second-hand embarrassment.

And Carragher couldn't help but poke fun, breaking through the laughter as he commented: "I am not sure who is being cancelled, but someone is."
"I need CBS to double Micah’s salary," gushed one of the many social media users piling in to post their praise of Richards. "The man is the most entertaining pundit in football."

"Meeks Jr nearly burst onto the scene," joked another after the City academy graduate almost exposed a little too much of himself on live television.
Richards was trying to give his best homage to Mbappe, whose opener for Paris Saint-Germain paved the way to a 3-0 win over AC Milan on Wednesday. And the World Cup-winner may well enjoy Richards' tribute as much as anyone else.
