Meet £33m wonderkid Endrick, 15, wanted by Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea

You may not be familiar with the name yet, but Endrick Felipe Moreira has ambitions to change that – and fast.

Endrick is still only 15 years old and yet his age is not apparent when you watch clips of his prolific goalscoring.

The young striker went viral last weekby scoringa ridiculous overhead kickfrom the edge of the area in Palmeiras’ match against Oeste.

Remarkably that goal does not appear to be a one-off fluke, rather a marker in the sand of Endrick’s huge potential.

Scoring outrageous acrobatic goals while facing away from goal 19 yards out is certainly a good way to attract attention, but Endrick had already done plenty of that beforehand.

His staggering goalscoring record of 167 strikes in 170 matches for Palmeiras’ youth sides had prompted just about every major European side to send scouts to watch him.

Endrick also recently made his mark at the Copinha in Sao Paulo, one of the most prestigious tournaments for Under-20 players in the world.

He won awards for most valuable player and goal of the tournament after scoring five times in just 90 minutes of action across three games.

His performances are turning heads. According toSky Sports, Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Bayern Munich have all been keeping a close eye on his development.

Reports in Brazilhave also credited Manchester United and Liverpool for interest in his signature, meaning Endrick basically has all of Europe watching his every move.

Enrick only turns 16 in July and his youth means that any transfer to a European giant will have to wait.

He will be unable to make a transfer until he’s 18 due to current FIFA regulations, although he can sign a pre-contract agreement this summer.

Endrick may be young, but Brazilian wonderkids don’t come cheap. Sky Sports say he is valued at up to £33.5million (€40m).

Palmeiras understand they have a star on their hands and are aiming to earn more than the £29.3m (€30m) they received when they sold Gabriel Jesus to Man City in 2016.

Real Madrid have a history of signing young Brazilian talents, with Vinicius Junior and Casemiro both bought off the back of eye-catching displays at the Copinha.

The Spanish giants are reportedly Endrick’s favourite club and they might have another advantage over their rivals due to the fact that Endrick is represented by the same agent as Vinicius.

However, Manchester United have a different factor on their side: Cristiano Ronaldo.

“Endrick follows a lot and is a big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo,” his father, Douglas Sousa, told the Fair Play channel on YouTube. “He has him as a great example. He even says: ‘Dad, I want to be like Cristiano’.

“He read some articles and knows that Cristiano doesn't have a tattoo, because he donates blood. In the same way that Cristiano is driven by challenges, so is Endrick.

“He likes to train, to improve himself every day, so he has a main mirror in this athlete. Once they put three players: Cristiano, Neymar and Messi, he chose Cristiano.”

According to his father, Endrick is not in a rush to secure his big move just yet.

“He has a dream which is to make history at Palmeiras,” Sousa added. “In a video he says: the first objective is to reach the professional, the second is to play and remain in the professional, the third is to win the Libertadores, the fourth to win the World Cup and, only the fifth is to play in Europe.

“He only thinks about leaving Palmeiras after winning titles and building a history within the club.”
