McTominay’s four touch two goal ‘masterclass’ has Utd fans liken him to Haaland

Scott McTominay has been compared to Erling Haaland after his superstar-esque cameo against Brentford on Saturday afternoon.

McTominay was a late substitution from Erik ten Hag, as United chased a 1-0 deficit to the Bees at Old Trafford. And the Scotsman wasted little time in making an impact, finding the net to send the Red Devils level.

However, his afternoon wasn't finished – and minutes after sending United level, he won them the game. Amazingly, McTominay rescued United's clash with just four touches, leading to fans comparing him to Erling Haaland.

"McTominay is who Manchester City think Erling Haaland is. Match Winner," a third said. And another added: "McTominay is genuinely the best poacher in the world after Haaland!"
