Mbappe shrugs off defender like he isn’t there to net ‘world class’ goal for PSG
Kylian Mbappe looked to be back at his brilliant best on Wednesday evening after he shrugged off a Juventus defender before curling the ball into the back of the net.
The PSG megastar opened the scoring against the Old Lady with the lovely bit of trickery. After shrugging off the Juventus defender, Mbappe cut inside, taking another defender out of the game, before netting from the edge of the area.
The goal also broke Thierry Henry's longstanding record as the youngest player to score 40 Champions League goals. Football fans praised the striker on social media, with Mbappe even receiving R9 comparisons.

One fan tweeted: "Mbappe genuinely has the electricness of R9, the clutchness of Cristiano Ronaldo, insane numbers and passes the eye test, he’s for real one of the biggest talents of all time man!"

"Mbappe 100% looked like R9 for that goal. Insane," a second added. While a third tweeted: "Erling Haaland isn’t doing this btw. Best in the world."
And a fourth said: "Spun the poor man out his boots!"
Juventus were able to fire back – as they looked to avoid losing out their Europa League spot to European minnows Maccabi Haifa.
However, Nuno Mendes fired the Parisians back ahead as they went onto win the clash, but it wasn't enough to top the group – with that honour going to Benfica.
