Bolton say Shoretire will add to manager Ian Evatt’s attacking options, as the club seek to maintain their push for promotion from League One.
Shoretire told the club website he had been impressed by the style of football played by Bolton, having faced the club in the Papa Johns Trophy earlier this season for Manchester United’s under-21 side.
The forward claimed Bolton belong in the Premier League, as he vowed to help the club secure promotion to the Championship next season.
‘They played some very good football and similar to what we’ve played at United,’ Shoretire said. ‘After that game was only when I found out Bolton had some interest and I was delighted really because it’s a great opportunity.
‘Coming here at 18 I’m transitioning into the men’s game, which is exactly what I needed. Hopefully I will have a good loan here and it will put me in a good place.
‘For me the club belongs in the Premier League and hopefully next season the Championship.
