Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes’s petulant reaction after flat Arsenal draw
Man Utd: Solskjaer on Fernandes’ practice routine
Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes ignored Arsenal players after the final whistle on Saturday night. The Red Devils went into the match against the Gunners seeking a return to winning ways. But that didn’t happen, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side instead dropping more points in the race for the Premier League title.
United squandered some big chances against Arsenal, with Edinson Cavani going closest at the Emirates Stadium.
And, in the end, they were forced to settle for just a point.
It was a frustrating night for Solskjaer’s side, who have now seen their hopes of Premier League title glory dealt another blow.
And Fernandes was visibly frustrated at the final whistle, storming straight down the tunnel without acknowledging any Arsenal players after the match.
While the 26-year-old has been a huge hit ever since his arrival 12 months ago, he’s started to show a petulant side to his game in recent weeks.

Fernandes appeared frustrated throughout the match against Arsenal and was lucky to avoid a red card for a high boot on Granit Xhaka midway through the first half.
In the end, neither side did enough to win the game.
And it means that United will go into their upcoming match against Southampton on Tuesday night seeking a first victory in three matches.
Speaking after the match against Arsenal, meanwhile, Fernandes made it clear he was eager to propel United to silverware in the coming years ahead.
“Definitely not the result I wanted to celebrate my first year as a Red, but we’ll keep working to improve,” Fernandes posted on his Instagram account.

“It’s an absolute honour to play football with the Man Utd badge on my chest.
“The history of this football club was built over wins, many wins. I came here to help on continuing that legacy, and I won’t rest until I do it.
“I want to thank all the fans for your outstanding support. Hopefully, this was only the first of many years together. Glory, glory Man United!”
Solskjaer wants his United forwards to improve after their drab showing against Arsenal.
“Of course you look at every game but you look at the games we played Arsenal, Chelsea, City, Liverpool,” he said.
“We defend well, we don’t really concede many chances.
“That’s one foundation to play from we need to take our chances and we know we have players to do that; we just haven’t done it.
“We just want to keep on working with them on the training ground.
“Today with the chances we had we feel that we should have won it but then you have to score to win definitely that’s something I want my forwards to sort out, they’ve scored so many goals throughout their careers.”
Solskjaer also hailed Cavani, despite the 33-year-old being unable to break the deadlock.
“I just look at his movement and his cleverness in his movement and I know exactly how fine margins there are,” Solskjaer said.
“You’ve got to open up your ankle a little bit on the first one as the goal is gaping and the second one is just hit the ball a touch earlier so you can get your foot around it.
“That’s half a centimetre on your foot and you have to do it so quickly.
“The big thing is that he’s there on the end of all the chances, which is something I hope Mason (Greenwood), Anthony (Martial), Marcus (Rashford) look at him and learn from him.”
