Manchester United expect to have completed their summer business following the arrivals of Antony and Martin Dubravka.

Erik ten Hag has sought to revamp his United squad this summer through a number of signings with the likes of Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro and Christian Eriksen all joining the Manchester club this window.

With speculation still abound that the club could make a late dash to secure the services of Frenkie de Jong, it is in fact now believed that they will have wrapped up their business following Antony and Dubravka’s arrivals.

Brazilian Antony is expected to complete his £84m move to Manchester United this week

Antony is expected to join the club in a deal worth £84m from Ajax, re-uniting with his former boss Ten Hag.

Dubravka will depart Newcastle to join the club has an understudy to first choice David de Gea.

Following a poor start to their campaign in which they lost their opening two fixtures, United have sought to bolster their squad with a number of incomings.

Casemiro was unveiled against Liverpool last week before making his debut for the club away at Southampton, coming on as a second half substitute.

After a pursuit that led to Antony being left out of a number of Ajax squads while publicly pleading to leave the Dutch club, Ten Hag has secured the Brazilian he will feel can provide a bit of life to their attack.

Despite De Jong being filmed jetting out of Barcelona airport for London on Monday morning, it is not expected that he is travelling to England to secure a move to United or indeed Chelsea.

Ten Hag sought to make De Jong his number one target this summer with Barcelona open to selling the player to raise funds amid dire financial straits at the club.

However, De Jong’s reluctance to forgo the £20m owed to him by the Catalan club put paid to a deal for the Dutchman to re-unite with his former Ajax boss.

The Dutch boss, who enjoyed his best week of his United tenure so far when he beat Liverpool and Southampton in the space of six days, is happy with his squad and United will now look to move forward with what they have.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s future remains up in the air with Ten Hag open to selling the forward but few appropriate suitors for the Portuguese have emerged this summer. Speculation of a swap deal between Napoli and United for Victor Osimhen and Ronaldo have been quashed.
