Man Utd’s Wan-Bissaka charged with driving while disqualified and no insurance

Manchester United's right-back Aaron wan-Bissaka has been charged with driving while disqualified.

The 23-year-old has been accused of being behind the wheel of his £170,000 Lamborghini Urus on the A34 in Stockport, Greater Manchester, on June 23, according to the Daily Mail.

Wan-Bissaka also faces charges of driving without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a license.

The case was set for Stockport Magistrates' court on Thursday.

However, the defender didn't attend the hearing, and he didn't enter a plea.

The hearing for the case has now be adjourned, and it is set to be held on September 1st.

The Englishman started for United in their opening Premier League clash against Leeds United at the weekend.

And he was one of a few stars, that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has at his disposal, that wasn't selected for his national side at Euro 2020.

Wan Bissaka can represent DR Congo, but he remains focused on an England cap after spending time in the England youth set-up.

He joined Manchester United from Crystal Palace for £50million in 2018.

And, last month, he told the Players Tribunal that Old Trafford is his home: "The feeling of 70,000 cheering you make a tackle, singing your name is … honestly, I can’t put it into words.

"The only way I can describe it is to say, I feel like I’ve made it.

"I feel like I’m home."

Wan-Bissaka should be available for the Red Devils clash with Southampton away at St Mary's on Sunday afternoon.

The last time the two sides met, in February, United ran out 9-0 winners and Wan-Bissaka found himself on the scoresheet.
